First Ladies of the Goodman League
Short radio documentary produced with Emily Friedman profiling three vocal basketball fans.
When you walk through the gates of the Goodman League, sneakers squeak across the court and cheers erupt from the seats and all eyes are glued on the basketball court. But there's another presence at the game. Along the midline of the court, three women, sometimes four, cheer and holler at nearly every game in foldout canvas chairs. They are called the First Ladies and they've been coming to the games for over 15 years.
